MEET DENISE

Denise Mills is the founder and lead designer of Fig & Flower. Having always loved the beauty of flowers, and working with her hands, founding Fig & Flower was a natural transition after working as a Chiropractor for over twenty years. After many years of creating her own arrangements and designs at home, she began studying flowers more seriously. Starting with numerous local floral design classes, she eventually enrolled in the Floral Design Program at the prestigious Flower School New York. Following completion of the program, Denise worked in the high-end design and event studios of Belle Fleur and Designs by Ahn. While there, she worked on projects and events for the likes of Gucci, Vogue, Chopard, Tiffany and Snapchat. She currently lives in Annapolis with her husband and two dogs, where they are often visited by their five children.
